Tribeca, which is an abbreviation for Triangle Below Canal Street, was once a farmland in the 19th century. Now it is occupied by art galleries, boutique shops, and trendy restaurants and bars. It’s no wonder Tribeca is a well-desired neighborhood filled with celebrities. Here are some of our favorite spots for weekend fun in Tribeca, whether you live at 41 Terrace or not!
Tribeca Comedy Lounge
Laughing is an essential weekend activity after long work weeks. There’s no better place to laugh then Tribeca Comedy Lounge on 22 Warren Street just a couple minutes from our Tribeca Pointe building. Tribeca Lounge was voted by TimeOut New York as the best new comedy room in the city. Not only are great laughs provided, the comedy lounge has a spacious layout and serves delicious food. Some of the comics to check out are Sheba Mason, Vincent James, and Carmen Lynch.
Accomplice the Show
Accomplice the Show is an interactive experience that’s part performance by the actors, part walking tour, and part scavenger hunt mystery. The show will take your throughout downtown, proving a great way to explore Tribeca and other neighborhoods. The actors are funny and engaging, and the mystery games will make you think! Large groups are welcomed, making Accomplice the Show perfect for friends getting together! Accomplice the Show does do pit stops at bars, but they also do children friendly shows.
It may be getting colder, but on a warm fall day Pier 25 is a great outdoor spot. Besides a beautiful spot to walk around and admire the Hudson coast views, Pier 25 has a large list of fun things to do. The 18-hole mini golf course is the only mini golf course in Manhattan! The pier also has sand volleyball, a children’s playground, boating docks, and a skate park. With the crazy weather there’s bound to be warm weekends to enjoy! For Tribeca Pointe residents, pier 25 is adjacent to the building!
