Rockrose opened Toby's Estate Coffee at 26-25 Jackson Avenue in February and Levante, Italian dining featuring brick oven pizza, located at 26-21 Jackson Avenue opened July 31, 2017. Sapps, Japanese fare located at 27-26 Jackson Avenue anticipates September for its opening. Continuing with the excitement of bringing new retail to the area, Book Culture has joined forces with Rockrose and is to open their first Long Island City location in November of 2017 at 26-09 Jackson Avenue. Also, Rockrose has added a pharmacy, City Chemist, to the list of new retailers opening locations in Long Island City. Pharmacies have been in high demand in the area, and City Chemist is being the perfect fit at The Hayden, a Rockrose building located at 43-25 Hunter Street which borders the Jackson Avenue retail. City Chemist is set to open for business in Winter of 2018. Indie Food and Wine, with a location at Lincoln Center, will be expanding with their second shop located in Long Island City at Rockrose's 43-10 Crescent Street Building and is expected to open in November of 2017.
